Our Pitch -October 26th, 2025 Pitch 1: A famous wealthy rapper gives back to his loyal supporters changing the course of their life for the next few months and earning their respect permanently. We would be interested in filming this pitch because it is a very wholesome approach that many people would appreciate. This pitch would showcase good morals and display the effects of giving back to your community. There are many popular songs that could fit this pitch for the music video. This idea would be a great way to represent something important while also having a good time working with my friends.  Pitch 2: A world-famous artist unites fans from every nation through music and football, turning strangers into teammates and a game into a global celebration. Today, I'll discuss the Music Video. For this project I decided to work with two of my close friends. Their names are Roberto, Justin, and Parker. It will be easy for us to record since we all frequently see eachother outside of school and have similar schedules from school activities. This project will be a good learning experience and will determine how well we can work together. I've collaborated with many other peers numerous amounts of times in the past. Group work has always helped extend my knowledge on the topic. I believe it is helpful and somewhat necessary to discuss and provide insights from different perspectives. In my opinion this helps develop my understanding. There are some downsides to group work. For example, I have to trust that my group members will do their part and make sure to complete their work in a timely manner. Hello, my name is Daegan O'Brien. I am a student at Fort Lauderdale Highschool. Here is a quick introduction about me. I am fifteen years old, my birthday is on February 14th, 2010. This is the start to my sophomore year and my second year of being in the Cambridge program. Currently I am taking four AICE classes, such as Media Studies, English Language, Thinking Skills, and Information Technology. Last year I took three AICE classes which were Marine Science, Global Perspectives, and General Paper. I passed all three exams with good scores. Creative Critical Reflection 1.       Q:   How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? A: Franklin baseball gloves are very good at advertising conventions by showing their amazing performance. The gloves have excellent grip when hitting, and can last a long time. The product is shown to be used by many professional baseball athletes. It shows close-ups of athletes in motion. This product has a good representation of social groups. Many athletes shown in commercials are from diverse backgrounds, also involving youth athletes and some softball players. This is different from the usual actor in baseball gear promotions. The gloves are also customizable, this lets the players to choose their own colors and styles that can express and reflect their personality. This helps encourage individuality.   This was the first commercial I have every filmed. Looking back on it there are definitely some improvements needed to be done. However, for my first time I believe my group did a great job. I know how I can improve the quality in the next commercial I film. I am always determined to learn from my previous experiences in order to get better.
