When finding the ideal location for this commercial, I was stuck between a 2 main options. The first option (option 1) was Bayview Park. This is a local park near my house which I frequently practice at. I have easy access to the fields most of the time. One main conflict is other teams practicing on the field which they have priority to use the field. Another downside is that the fields are smaller than usual and there are only 2. The second option (option 2) was Holiday Park. This park is also somewhat local relative to my house. One downside is the drive to this park is usually longer due to traffic. This park has 5 different baseball fields to use. All of them are the correct size for my age level. However, one conflict are that a lot of younger teams practice on these fields because of Little League. Little League is a youth baseball organization. These teams get priority of the fields at all times, and have practice throughout the day. I had to take this into consideration when deciding between the two locations. After a few hours of deciding between the 2 options, and weighing the pros and cons, I decided option 2 would be best. This is because if there were to be any practices going on at the time I decided to film the commercial, I would have a better shot at an open field. Bayview Park has 2 smaller fields while Holiday Park has 5 regular sized fields. This location seemed like the better option. Overall, Holiday Park was the location and Bayview park was my last resort or backup plan if the other location was ever inaccessible.
